Speedtest is a dedicated software application which allows users to analyze the speed of their operating system with the click of a button. It will normally run within the dock as a default option although it can also be activated manually when required. Some of the metrics which it will assess include upload and download speeds as well as the strength of an Internet connection. These details are displayed in graphical format and when required, they can be shared.
